This is a Mistake
Lol. I turned 52 on Tuesday. How can THAT be? As difficult as it is to accept the number I must admit that life is great. Better than ever, and I know how lucky that makes me. I have everything I could want, really. I have my 2 wonderful kids (ok, adults but they are MY kids) living with me. Both are healthy and happy. I have my mom living within driving distance and the most incredible boyfriend imaginable. I have wonderful friends and my darling store. I am lucky indeed!
Monday Rob and I went to Disneyland and had a wonderful time. Tuesday we went to look for dogs at the shelter (didn’t find the pooch of my dreams but she’s out there!) and then to Huntington Beach Pier. We walked the pier and strolled the stores and the outdoor farmers market. My sweetie bought me a beautiful cotton gypsy blouse and a yummy snowcone! We then went to Newport Beach and had dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory.
When I arrived home I found cards and gifts from the kids and Hannah had made me a cake! We lit candles and they sang. What a special day!
Tonight my bff Joni is coming to The Camp with her daughter Hannah and my Hannah is meeting us for a birthday dinner. I know we will share tons of laughs and it will be another fantastic day.
Lucky 52 year old me!
