I’m up. Now what?

I’m off to a very slow moving start today which doesn’t bode well for all the things I had hoped to accomplish.  maybe it’s the weather change?  we had low 70’s and drizzle which equals happy day in my book.  today will be 88 with santa ana winds. ugh!  my lips are already feeling dry and my nose is stuffy.  yeah….I’m gonna blame the weather!  but regardless of the cause, I’m not moving at a good pace today.  not even a so-so pace.  pregnant snail might describe it.  so here is my question, because you knew one was coming, didn’t you?  how do you force yourself to MOVE?  do you have a trick that works?  do you threaten yourself? reward yourself if you accomplish something?  make an energy smoothie?  tell me what works for you. please.  I’m starting to become one with the chair I’m sitting in.  help!

    I’m with you, it’s the weather. I have learned to be nice to myself. I’ve been told that we can’t be on all the time. Give yourself a break and go with it. Do what you absolutely have to do and let the rest go. When I get anything done while I’m feeling like you are, I make sure to give myself the credit instead of focusing on all the things I didn’t get done. Don’t forget….even when it feels like you’ve gotten very little done, you’ve really done alot more than you think.
